I would venture to guess that for many, breakfast is a rushed through or skipped past kind of meal. This is understandable when the day starts off busy and you're called into action before even rolling out of bed! But breakfast is a great opportunity to start the day out with both enjoyment and nourishment - and this recipe is a great way to capitalize on that. Take my base overnight oat recipe up a notch by incorporating Nutterly Delicious PB&J Butter*. It is a quick and simple recipe, with just 6 primary ingredients, plus whatever extra toppings/mix-ins you prefer to add!
*If you don't have this Nutterly Delicious flavor, you can easily substitute.
Nutrition Nugget: Oats are an awesome whole grain to work into your diet, whether that is in oatmeal, granola, cookies, energy bars, and many other options! They are loaded with fiber, which helps you stay full for longer and manage cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Oats also provide plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Notes

1
Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl (with a lid) or mason jar until everything is combined.
*If you don't have this Nutterly Delicious flavor, try substituting with peanut butter and strawberry (or another flavor) jam.

2
Place in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight.

3
After the oats have set and you're ready to eat, add your desired toppings such as a drizzle of extra PB&J Butter and sliced strawberries and banana. You can enjoy as is or warm them in the microwave.
